Last week we were pleased to welcome Blue, the gorgeous black labrador into the Day lounge to see some of our members. Blue is a therapy dog and will be visiting us more regularly in the future accompanied by her owner Emily. Therapy dogs have proven benefits beyond companionship including: emotional support, stress reduction, improved mood, supporting social interaction and a distraction from pain. We are already looking forward to the next visit.
Join us for Table Tennis on 19th April 2024 in support of World Table Tennis Day.
From 12.30pm onwards you can play for free and if there is enough of you, you can organise your own mini tournament!
We are an inclusive environment for players of all levels so don’t worry if you haven’t picked up your paddle in a while. This is the perfect opportunity to dust off your skills and rediscover the joy of table tennis.
